Responsibilities:
The
overall objective of this research program is to increase the efficiency
of beef production from range and pasturelands. Research
responsibilities include studies on dietary requirements, foraging
behavior, physiological responses, and performance of beef animals in
various grazing management treatments and range conditions. Research
on supplementation, mineral nutrition and use of improved pastures to meet
nutritional needs is included.
